Josh Humig
Missions Pastor
My wife Andrea and I have been married since February of 1997. The Lord blessed us with the opportunity to love and raise 7 amazing children. Inconceivable as it seems, the empty-nest stage is a reality we will realize in just a few short years. We have many great memories of vacationing and traveling together as a family over the years. Both Andrea and I have been blessed to take some of our children with us on various trips around the world as we have endeavored to cultivate a heart of service and love for others into our children and now our grandchildren (G-babies!) as well.
Besides my family, another of my greatest passions in life is missions. I realized this as a teenager, when I was presented with the opportunity to go on a mission trip while still in high school. Taking that trip, the experiences, the place we went, the things we did, the people we met, changed my life forever. Since then, this passion has taken me to more than 20 countries over the past 25 plus years, sharing the gospel, encouraging and inspiring others to take a step out of their comfort zone and onto the mission field. Being part of the life change that people experience when they take a mission trip is what led me to establish, I WILL GO Ministries, Inc. in late 2017. It was a vision birthed in my heart many years ago and is now becoming a resource to help enable, equip and send people into all the world to share the good news of Christ’s salvation message. This passion has also provided me the honor of serving the local body of Christ, here at Freedom Church, as the missions pastor. My desire is to cultivate an awareness of world missions and open a door of opportunity and experience for any believer to participate in Christ’s Great Commission.
